Resistors
A resistor rarely stops a program, until the exact established-reliability value is needed in quantity five and the minimum order is a reel. We source the specified part in the quantity you need.
Where this comes up
Established-reliability resistors are made to a failure-rate level and sold in reel quantities that make little sense for a lab build or a repair. We find small quantities of the exact part, with paperwork that ties the parts back to the manufacturer's lot, so a few pieces carry the same traceability as a full reel.

What to put in your RFQ
- The full part number, including the failure-rate letter and termination code
- Value, tolerance, temperature coefficient and size if there is no part number
- Termination finish: tin-lead, gold or pure tin
- Quantity, and whether cut tape is acceptable
- Power rating and package style
Small parts, strict documentation
Chip resistors carry no readable marking, so the paperwork is the traceability. Every shipment comes with the manufacturer and supplier documents back to the source, the lot and date codes, and our certificate of conformance.
How we source
- Authorized stock first. We buy from authorized distributors wherever they hold stock.
- Manufacturer and OEM excess, with purchase paperwork back to an authorized source.
- Qualified independent sources only after they pass our questionnaire. Their parts are tested at an independent lab before they ship, unless you tell us in writing not to.

- Blue Horizon certificate of conformance, signed
- Manufacturer and supplier paperwork back to the source
- Manufacturer lot and date codes, plus our internal lot code
- The test report, when parts were tested
One line per part is fine. We screen every customer and classify every part before quoting.
