What we source
Electromechanical
Relays, switches and breakers wear out in service and go obsolete in design. We find the exact part for repairs, spares and test equipment.
Where this comes up
Hermetic relays and sealed switches are workhorses in aircraft, ground equipment and test racks, and many legacy types are no longer made. Repair stations need the exact part for an approved repair, and labs need spares for switching matrices and test fixtures. We search for the exact military or manufacturer part and report the date code of every lot.
What we find
- Hermetically sealed relays
- Contactors
- Toggle and pushbutton switches
- Circuit breakers
Specifications buyers ask for
- MIL-PRF-39016
- electromagnetic relays, established reliability
- MIL-PRF-6106
- electromagnetic relays, including established-reliability types
- MIL-DTL-3950
- environmentally sealed toggle switches
- MIL-PRF-39019
- circuit breakers
What to put in your RFQ
- The full military or manufacturer part number
- Coil voltage, contact form and rating if there is no part number
- Terminal and mounting style
- Quantity and any date-code limit
- Whether sockets or mounting hardware are needed too
Age matters for some parts
Sealed relays and breakers can sit on shelves for years. We report the date code of every lot so you can apply your own age limits; put any limit in your RFQ and we quote only lots that meet it. For older lots, retesting at an independent laboratory can be quoted as its own line.
How we source
- Authorized stock first. We buy from authorized distributors wherever they hold stock.
- Manufacturer and OEM excess, with purchase paperwork back to an authorized source.
- Qualified independent sources only after they pass our questionnaire. Their parts are tested at an independent lab before they ship, unless you tell us in writing not to.
What ships with your order
- Blue Horizon certificate of conformance, signed
- Manufacturer and supplier paperwork back to the source
- Manufacturer lot and date codes, plus our internal lot code
- The test report, when parts were tested
One line per part is fine. We screen every customer and classify every part before quoting.
